GIMMI^® Instrument Oils must be applied after recommended cleaning and before sterilization, selectively to those areas which are to be lubricated.
Surgical instruments, such as clamps, scissors, needle holders, etc. must be specifically treated at the joints, locks, cutting edges and sliding surfaces. Oiling the entire instrument is unnecessary. Excess oil should be removed.
Oiling provides the instrument with optimal lubrication and protects against corrosion. GIMMI^® Instrument Oil is suitable for steam sterilization and dry
heat sterilization for up to 180°C.
