Alpha MultiStore

Fundamental knowledge of surgical procedures and requirements for a rapid, secure and smooth documentation of images and videos were the prerequisites for the newly developed documentation system Alpha MultiStore.
Quick access to DICOM images of previous examinations, such as x-ray images, is possible without any problem as a result of the simple integration of Alpha MultiStore in the network of the hospital. Current surgery images in the DICOM format are automatically linked to patient data (worklist in HL7) from the Hospital Information System (HIS) and can be documented in manifold ways with the integrated function Add Image Comment and subsequently saved in PACS. In this way, the operating room becomes an interactive part of the HIS.
The subsequent export of images and videos by portable data storage media, such as CD-ROM, DVD or memory stick, enables very simple transfer of the data to office applications. Processed images can also be printed out directly on commercially available printers. Alpha MultiStore is operated intuitively by means of an integrated user interface with touchscreen. An operation via an external touchscreen is optional.
Due to the modular design of Alpha MultiStore in various expansion stages, an ideal and economical configuration is possible for every
requirement. The open concept of the control unit structure allows upgrading of the system at any time and thus offers unrestricted viability for the future.
